Kia ora! Welcome to the official website of SIFE New Zealand Alumni Association. This association consists of a network of individuals who have made that “Oh-so-hard!” decision to leave their SIFE team to pursue other life aspirations.
Vision - “We want to keep alumni engaged with SIFE by maintaining relationships between past and present SIFErs. Members of the alumni will contribute to the enhancement of SIFE projects and help grow awareness about SIFE within their professional networks. In doing so, we hope to have a greater impact in our communities while creating more opportunities for future SIFErs.”
We welcome all those individuals who wish to keep connected with the happenings of SIFE New Zealand, who still have something to give, and who wish to see SIFE grow in New Zealand, in to our network and together we will make that wish come true.
The Alumni Association has two core overarching goals:
- To connect SIFE New Zealand alumni with other SIFE New Zealand alumni – building the SIFE portfolio in the marketplace and creating business and employment opportunities for SIFErs,
- To bridge the gap between SIFE alumni and current SIFE teams – promoting continual growth of SIFE teams, ensuring against knowledge loss and also creating opportunities to share resources and networks.
A small team of SIFE alumni known as the Leadership Team manage this initiative, they are responsible for connecting people (students, alumni, business partners), maintaining the database, organising social events and providing assistance when requested.
To keep this association filled with fresh ideas and to ensure equality we hope our leadership is diverse, creative, and has a member from each SIFE chapter so that every team has the opportunity to leverage the Alumni Association. You can meet our current Leadership Team here.
